Terms of Service

BeaverByte Software Inc. (“BeaverByte,” “we,” “us”) operates BeaverCard, a physical NFC card paired with a digital profile, sold through beavercard.ca. By ordering a card or using a BeaverCard profile, you agree to these Terms.

The $39.99 CAD + tax price includes one physical NFC card, shipping within Canada (3–5 business days), and a digital profile linked to that card for as long as the service operates (see Section 3). It is a single one-time payment — there is no subscription and no recurring fee.

If you add the custom design option (+$89.99 CAD + tax) at checkout, you are asking us to produce a card using artwork you supply or a bespoke design we create with you. Turnaround for custom-design orders is 10 business days from the point your design is approved. Once production on a custom design has started, that order cannot be cancelled.

You may not use a BeaverCard profile to host or link to:

• Illegal content, or content that infringes someone else’s rights
• Malware, phishing pages, or deceptive redirects
• Harassment, hate speech, or content that impersonates another person or business without authorization
• Spam, or links whose primary purpose is to manipulate search rankings or scrape visitor data

We may suspend or deactivate a card or profile that violates this section. Where practical, we’ll email you first and give you a chance to fix the issue.

You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials and card ID confidential. If your card is lost or stolen, contact support promptly and use the authenticated replacement flow — see our Refund, Shipping & Replacement Policy for replacement terms.

You own the content you put on your profile (your name, photos, bio, links). By publishing it, you grant us the limited right to host and display it as part of the service. BeaverCard, the BeaverCard logo, and the BeaverByte name and mark are owned by BeaverByte Software Inc. — you may not use them without our written permission, except to accurately describe that you use the product.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BeaverByte Software Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of BeaverCard. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Ontario, Canada law, including liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

We may update these Terms as the product changes. For material changes, we’ll notify active customers by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the updated Terms.
